AI Tutor Chat

How It Works

Each lecture has an AI tutor you can chat with. The tutor:

• Answers questions about the lecture content
• Cites specific paragraphs in its responses
• Suggests follow-up questions to deepen your understanding
• Keeps context from your conversation history

Using the Chat

1. Open a lecture and click the Chat tab or icon
2. Type your question in the input box
3. The AI will respond with an answer based on the lecture content
4. Click any suggested follow-up question to continue the conversation

Tips

• Ask about specific concepts mentioned in the lecture
• Request examples or analogies to help understand complex topics
• Ask the tutor to summarise key points
• Use the suggested follow-up questions for deeper exploration

Limitations

The AI tutor only knows about the current lecture's content. For questions about other topics, try the lecture for that subject. For platform help, use the support chat (help button in the bottom-right corner).

Transparency

The AI tutor is powered by artificial intelligence. A disclosure banner is shown to ensure transparency, as required by EU AI Act Article 50.
