What is SkillPulse?

The Solution

SkillPulse is our built-in retention engine powered by the FSRS (Free Spaced Repetition Scheduler) algorithm. It automatically creates review cards from your quizzes and lectures, then schedules them at optimal intervals to maximise long-term retention.

How It Works

1. Card Creation -- When you complete a quiz or lecture, SkillPulse automatically generates review cards
2. Smart Scheduling -- The algorithm determines when you're about to forget something and schedules a review just in time
3. Adaptive Intervals -- Cards you know well are shown less frequently; cards you struggle with are shown more often
4. Graduation -- Once a card's interval exceeds 180 days, it "graduates" and is no longer actively reviewed

Card Types

• Quiz cards -- Generated from quiz questions you've answered (blue badge)
• Lecture concept cards -- AI-generated from lecture content paragraphs (amber badge)
